Coming to a test is a great way to see a Cesky Fousek in action, learn about our breeding and testing program, and determine if you would like to get a dog and become part of the action. Visitors are welcome to attend. If you are already a member, please consider attending and volunteering! Northwest Chapter fall tests are normally held the last weekend of August at the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area near La Grande, Oregon. Spring testing is typically done in the adjoining Rocky Mountain Chapter at the end of March.

Pre-test training: Friday, August 23rd
-training day location is yet to be determined but will be held within a 45 minute drive of La Grande. Ladd Marsh is closed to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
-training/exposure day begins at 1:00 P.M.

-testing begins at 7:30 a.m. sharp, please arrive at to test site at 7 am.
Test Entries close: July 10th. Late entries will only be accepted if space is available.
Do you anticipate testing a dog? please note the following:
Dogs are eligible for the Natural Ability Test from the age of 6 months up until and including the day they reach 16 months of age. Dogs over age may be entered for evaluation only. Dogs are eligible for the Intermediate Hunting Dog Test from 12 to 36 months of age. Dogs over 18 months of age are eligible for the Utility Field Test. Versatile hunting dogs other than Cesky Fouseks are eligible and welcome for all tests. Test rulebooks are available online at: https://ceskyfousekna.org/progeny-testing/

REMEMBER MOTEL ETIQUETTE: Do not leave your dog alone in motel room unless you are ABSOLUTELY certain it will be quiet. (If dog is left alone in motel room, it should always be in a crate.)

Lunches will be available on test days Saturday & Sunday for a cost $TBD/person.
Dinner and auction: we are currently working on finding a location for a Saturday night dinner and auction
PLEASE REMEMBER-Cars kill dogs. Keep your dog on a leash at all times when in the vicinity of a road or driveway. Do not rely on a well-trained dog.
