Breeding Stock

Below an overview of males and females registered with  Cesky Fousek North America (CFNA) as stud / breeding bitch. These dogs comply with the rules as stated in the breeding regulations.

We have a very small gene pool in North America and work hard to make sure we maintain or increase genetic diversity as well as maintain good hunting/family dog qualities of the Český Fousek. We are breeding for the future and therefore we may not use all of the dogs listed below in any given season.

The minimum conditions for approval as a breeding dog areas follows:

1) Must pass both Natural Ability and Intermediate Hunting dogs test.
2)Must have hip analysis by PennHip in the top half of the North American population.
3) Must have genetic analysis done for degenerative myelopathy. Note we will not breed two DM carriers together.

We highly encourage All of our breeders to use the Puppy Culture Method and prepare puppies for their new homes with positive Conditioned Emotional Responses (CER) to game birds, loud noises, as well as crate shipment.
